Cathy and David’s wedding came as a complete surprise to the guests, who had all arrived to celebrate Cathy’s birthday. Once all the guests had arrived and found themselves a drink from the bar, we called everyone together to make some ‘speeches’. It was Cathy who announced that this was in fact their wedding day. The guests were stunned, some cheered, many gasped and a few were a little annoyed that they had been tricked!. Keeping the secret for so long was a challenge for the couple but it was an absolute delight to be the celebrant for this wedding.
